Student Recognition
BUG (Bringing Up Grades) Award To qualify a student must bring up one grade without dropping a grade in any other subject.
MAG (Maintaining "A" Grades) Award Students qualify by maintaining A's from one nine week grading period to the next in all subject areas.
Honor Roll A student must have a 3.25 QPA (Quality Point Average) or higher to qualify for the Honor Roll. The categories are: Distinguished Honors 3.75 ~ 4.0 High Honors 3.5 ~ 3.74 Honors 3.25 ~ 3.49
Academic Excellence Awards Academic Excellence is achieved by students who have met the requirement for the Honor Roll for three consecutive nine weeks. The level of academic excellence is determined by the QPA of the student. The categories are Honors, High Honors, and Distinguished Honors.
